Set in a former quarry, this project transforms from abstract form into a warm, creative kitchen studio— shaped by light, rhythm, and the rituals of cooking and sharing. At its heart, a monolithic concrete core grounds the space, while terraces, lofts, and soft curves create moments of pause, gathering, and reflection. More than a place to cook, it becomes a space to connect—a third space where food brings people together in comfort, creativity, and care. It offers a quiet invitation to share life, one meal at a time.
The design features a grand, bright primary void extending vertically from the base to the top, emphasizing
light streaming down from above. This primary void intersects with a secondary horizontal void that transitions
from a small quarter-circle to a larger one.
An independent void at the top and repetition of the semicircular shapes on one side adding rhythm to the
overall composition. The model was fabricated in concrete, formed with foam-carved negatives.
